Bioeconomy Cluster, the member of the Union of Slovak Clusters, was benchmarked by the „European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis“ and renewed  the European Cluster Management Excellence label in BRONZE. The certificate is valid from 5.11.2019 to 5.11.2021.


The event „1st Visegrad Cluster Congress – V4 companies – regional leaders in the time of 4.0 industrial revolution“ was organized on the 25th & 26th September 2018 in Gliwice, Poland.

The event was organized by the Polish association Klastry Polskie and was devoted to the current situation of cluster organizations in V4 countries, to the financial and support tools, innovations and to the key role of the Industry 4.0. More information are available here

Cluster BITERAP, the member of the Union of Slovak Clusters, was benchmarked by the „European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis“ and subsequently awarded with the European Cluster Management Excellence label in BRONZE. The certificate is valid from 17.7.2018 to 17.7.2020.


The representatives of the Union of Slovak Clusters participated in the conference dedicated to the challenges of clusters that was organized on 23-24 November 2017 within the project „Clusters in the Visegrad Group – Challenges of the Future“.

The president of the Union of Slovak Clusters Mr. Ing. Daniel Acs, PhD. presented the current situation in Slovakia, cluster policies, issues of cluster managers and also financial and support tools. Furthermore, Mr. Acs participated in the discussion devoted to the possibilities to participate in international projects, to the support of clusters from public funds and also to the internationalization of clusters. In addition, participants exchanged information and experiences in the area of innovations. The conference continued with a study visit to the Silesian Science and Technology Centre of Aviation Industry, which is one of the most modern research and industrial cooperation centres in the area of composite structures production in Europ

Given project is implemented within International Visegrad Fund, whereby the Lead Partner is the Polish association Klastry Polskie.
