The workshop was organized in one of the least developed regions in Slovakia, which is Orava. The participants of the workshop were mayors of municipalities in Orava region, who run an existing SE (start-up\/scale-up) as well as those who are interested in the establishment of SE. The aim was to discuss good and bad practices in social entrepreneurship as well as trends, visions and barriers to social entrepreneurship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd Regional Stakeholder Group Workshop and Pitching Repair Session<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-285 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/uksk.sk\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/05\/ffooto-300x168.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uksk.sk\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/05\/ffooto-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/uksk.sk\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/05\/ffooto.png 496w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place: Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica<\/p>\n<p>Date: 28.03.2019<\/p>\n<p>T<span lang=\"EN-US\">he 2<sup>nd<\/sup> RSGW was organized back-to-back with the Pitching Repair Session.\u00a0The general topic of these events was <em>\u201cBest practice examples of social entrepreneurship\u201d<\/em>. During RSGW, the participants had the opportunity to identify niches in the area of public interventions and financing of social entrepreneurship in Slovakia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The aim of pitching was to\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">present good practice examples and to identify, test and validate skills of social entrepreneurs in presenting their business cases in front of the plenary audience<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> composed of various types of stakeholders and experts in social economy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-542 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/uksk.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/20190923_111259-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>3rd Regional Stakeholder Group Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place: Trnava<\/p>\n<p>Date: 23.09.2019<\/p>\n<p>The 3rd RSGW within Finance4SocialChange project was held in Trnava.
